I had a dream about you that consumed my whole night
Contorted my views
Of what I found to be right

You were happy
Even, elated
By the mere glimpse of me

In your arms
I sought comfort
How could this be

Lost in my eyes
As you gazed in my face

Gripped

There was this intensity

Without even a sound
